And he turned aside, and sat down.” Ruth 4:1 KJV http://bible.com/1/rut.4.1.kjv Why is honesty such a struggle because there is a battle between good and evil  “I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.” Romans 7:21 KJV http://bible.com/1/rom.7.21.kjv We see dishonesty as a shortcut to success  The cost of dishonesty  It prevents us to being the person we want to be it is like cancer  We live in a culture of deception and lies and no wonder we have problems in our homes and relationships  Dishonesty is a viscous circle one dishonesty act leads to another it is a habit that is the worst of all  Dishonesty turns us into phonies and manipulators we play the role to long and lose ourselves.  Dishonesty eventually catches up with us  We never get away with our dishonest act even though we think we do Dishonesty can't be hidden we eventually know someone is lying to us Dishonesty ruins relationships  Dishonesty attacks our nervous system it has powerful psychological effects  Dishonesty prevents us from fulfillment  Six reasons to be honest  1 peace of mind  2 character and reputation  3 relationships honesty cements them together  4 wholeness reaching our potential as a human being  5 mental and physical health  Being authentic  Honesty is a choice!
