Your Goals Aren’t Too Big. You’re Just Not There Yet.

“Are my goals too big?” I hear some version of that question all the time. My answer is simple: your goals aren’t too big. The bigger problem is that most people either give up before they’ve done enough work to reach them, or they’re trying to chase so many different goals at once that they never give themselves a real chance to accomplish any of them. There’s a massive difference between having one huge goal and having too many goals. In this episode, I break down why I believe you should set goals that force you to grow into a different version of yourself—and why accomplishing them requires a lot more than writing something on a vision board and hoping it happens. It takes belief. It takes focus. It takes sacrifice. And it takes a ridiculous amount of work. Especially in business and entrepreneurship. I also get into something that has shaped the way I’ve approached my own life: Just Keep Reaching. That phrase isn't just a business name or something I put at the end of a post. It has followed me through foster care, being adopted, the military, entrepreneurship, building businesses, and every season where quitting would've been easier than continuing forward. The goal has always been to keep reaching for the next level. In this episode, I cover: Why I don't believe your goals can be “too big” The danger of trying to accomplish too many goals at once Why scattered focus destroys progress How unfinished goals can slowly destroy your confidence Why belief in yourself, your product, and your service matters Turning one massive goal into actionable daily steps Why vague goals rarely produce meaningful results The amount of work and sacrifice entrepreneurship actually requires Learning to enjoy the process instead of only chasing the outcome Why your biggest competition should be the person you were yesterday What Just Keep Reaching actually means to me There will be hard days. There will also be days where everything seems to click. Neither one changes the mission. Keep the bigger vision in front of you. Break it down into something you can execute today. Stop measuring your progress against everybody around you. And when you finally reach the goal? Set another one that scares you a little more. Compete against yourself. Find out what you're actually capable of. And Just Keep Reaching.Joe Rosner www.justkeepreaching.com
