4190 Falling In Love All Over Again

There is something about the turn of a season that invites us to look at our lives with fresh eyes. The leaves begin to shift, the air cools just enough to remind us that change is not only natural; it's necessary. And if we are honest with ourselves, sometimes the most important thing that needs a fresh look is not our wardrobe or our schedule. It is our marriage. So what if during this beautiful new season, you commit to falling in love all over again. Now, before you close this page and say, "Kristianne, my marriage is fine," let me stop you right there. This is not about fixing what is broken. This is about choosing — on purpose, with intention — to strengthen what already exists. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage Because here is the truth that nobody tells you at the altar: love is not a feeling you fall into once and ride for the rest of your life. Love is a decision you make every single morning when your feet hit the floor. It is a daily yes. A repeated choosing. And some of us have gotten so busy choosing everything else — the career, the kids, the ministry, the groceries — that we have forgotten to choose each other. Think about it. When was the last time you looked at your spouse — really looked — and remembered why you said yes? Not the version of them that leaves dishes in the sink or forgets to take out the trash. The one who made your heart race. The one who made you laugh until your stomach hurt. The one God handpicked for you. That person is still there. And so is that love. It just needs some tending. Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." This is your season. Right here. Right now. This fall, we are not just watching the leaves change. We are letting God change us — as wives, as partners, as the women who stand beside the men He gave us. Over the next sixteen Saturdays, we are going to walk through this season together, and by the time we ring in the new year, we will not just be surviving our marriages. We will be celebrating them. I heard someone say once, "A great marriage is not when the perfect couple comes together. It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences." That is what this journey is about. Not perfection. Not pretending. Just presence. Just purpose. Just two imperfect people deciding that their love story is worth investing in — again. So wherever you are today — whether your marriage is thriving, surviving, or somewhere in between — you belong here. Pull up a chair. Grab your coffee. And let's begin. The K.I.S.S. ~ Fall into love on purpose! What are you currently doing in your marriage now? Are you making your marriage a priority? Are you making your spouse a priority? 1. Set Your Season with a Conversation. Before this week ends, sit down with your spouse and tell them what you are doing. Say it plainly: "I want to spend this fall being more intentional about us." You do not need a speech. You do not need a plan. You just need to open the door. Let them know they are your priority — not because something is wrong, but because they are worth it. 2. Write Down Three Things You Love About Your Spouse — Right Now. Not three things you loved ten years ago. Three things that are true today. Maybe it is the way they handle stress with patience. Maybe it is how they show up for the kids without being asked. Maybe it is that they still make you laugh. Write them down. Put the list somewhere you will see it this week. Let gratitude be the first seed you plant in this season. 3. Pray a Simple Prayer Over Your Marriage Every Day This Week. It does not need to be long. It does not need to be eloquent. Just honest. Try this: "Lord, thank You for my marriage. Open my eyes to see my spouse the way You see them. Give me a heart that chooses love — today and every day. Amen." Seven days. One prayer. Watch what God begins to stir. One step at a time leads to miles of greatness. And that is exactly what we are doing here — one Saturday at a time, one conversation at a time, one prayer at a time. This is not a race. It is a walk. A slow, beautiful, hand-in-hand walk back to each other. I will meet you right here next Saturday. Until then, love well. Love on purpose. And remember — every great love story has chapters. This is the beginning of a brand new one. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
