539 – My Gospel

God 539 – My Gospel Follow along with the Scriptures and my notes as I read them. This podcast expands on a series I just posted on my website about "Paul of the Bible." It is a 13-session series on Paul's ministry and a review of his writings. This weekly podcast reinforces that and adds a bit more information. Romans 1:9 “For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;” Romans 2:16 “In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.” 1 Corinthians 9:17 & 18 “For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me. 18 What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, [Over Charge] that I abuse not my power in the gospel.” 1 Corinthians 9:9 – 11 “For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? 10 Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. 11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?” Ephesians 6:18 – 20 “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. The mystery is of Paul's Gospel. Philippians 1:7 “Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.” Philippians 4:3 “And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.” 1 Timothy 1:11 & 12 “According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. 12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;” 2 Timothy 2:8 “Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:” 2 Peter 3:13 _ 16 “Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom [Revelation] given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, [twist around] as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.” Tell me what you think about Paul's writings, and I'll tell you how far you will go spiritually.
