July 29th, 2026 * Motorcycle Mishap Part Deux - People who don't ride motorcycles think the danger is the problem. They are wrong about that. The danger is part of the point.!

This week I ramble about my healing journey. And for the first time in a long time I mean my physical healing, not the mental part. Not SO MUCH, this week, anyways. I talk about how the healing is going, how I have a really hard time being sedentary, and how I'm finding trhe zen of it all. And then I explain why I'll NEVER stop riding, so long as my body is able. Then I run down a list of all my motorcycfe crashes. Which, when I explain them all at once, makes me wonder, for a hot second, if I should keep riding. But of course I should. And then I dig in to how riding a motorcycle is akin to navigating life with mental illness. FUN. Really. It IS fun. Or at least I MAKE IT fun. Because if I can't find the fun in being crazy, what am I even doing living? As always, if you wanna be penpals you can send postcards, letters, stickers, t-shirts, pain pills & nudes to: Jakey Szufs PO Box 795 Boise, ID 83701 The song that closes each episode theese days is called "Boys Riding Idaho" and was written by my dear friend Julia Gurry for my birthday a few years back.
