Rescue // Part 4
God ransomed you, He rescued you, He’s given you a new name. You’re His son, you’re His daughter. He chose you, not because you were so good, not because you had so much potential. No, while we were weak, He chose us, He adopted us into His family. And we’re children of the King. He clothed you in righteousness. He’s given you all the privileges of being a child of God and He’s laid before you an eternal inheritance. He’s your Father and He delights in you! That’s the Rescue! You’ve been declared innocent by the Judge and adopted by your Father! That’s amazing news. And that should make all the difference in the world in how we pursue Him, and how we live for Him from one moment to the next.
