May is Mental Health Awareness Month.  Long-time podcast listeners will know that this is an extremely important topic to me, and we recognize this each year with a podcast episode related to agriculture and mental health.  This year, I am joined by my friend, Ty Koonce, who talks to us about the new non-profit organization he is launching, Under the Hat, related to mental health in agriculture.  Ty shares what he has seen in his role as a loan officer at an agricultural bank here in Texas, and shares the story of losing his father to suicide.  I am incredibly grateful to Ty for his willingness to share his story on the podcast and for his passion to make real changes to help improve mental health in rural America through Under the Hat.
