If You Don’t Have It, You Don’t Need It (Part 9)

In this episode of The One Thing That’s Needful Podcast, Dr. Siohvaughn Funches-Dunnom continues her powerful series, “If You Don’t Have It, You Don’t Need It.” Rooted in Philippians 4:19, this message reminds believers that God is faithful to supply every need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Even when life feels uncertain, restricted, or delayed, God is still at work, guiding His people with wisdom, purpose, and perfect timing. Through the story of Paul and Silas in Acts 16, this episode reveals that not every closed door is the devil. Sometimes, what looks like a setback is actually divine direction, leading us away from one assignment and into another that is greater than we imagined. When Paul and Silas were prevented from going where they planned, God redirected them to Macedonia, where their obedience became a channel for deliverance, healing, and salvation. This teaching also draws from the lives of Joseph and the children of Israel to show that God remains faithful even in seasons of hardship, captivity, and wilderness. Temporary prisons, painful delays, and difficult transitions are not proof that God has left you. Instead, they may be places where His purpose is unfolding, where His power is being revealed, and where others will come to know Him through your testimony. God does not abandon His people in the middle of the process—He finishes what He starts, and He supplies every need along the way.
