He comes from a prominent Scottish-Sicilian aristocratic bloodline with claimed ties to Illuminati networks. His father, Dr. Elio Zagami (1939–2010), was a well-known Jungian analyst, writer, and co-founder/president of GAPA (Independent Group of Analytical Psychology). His paternal grandfather, Senator Leopoldo Zagami, was a Sicilian politician, historian, and author who married into the aristocratic Marquis de Gregorio family.
