4023 Find Hope in the Empty Tomb

Easter is the heart of the Christian faith—a powerful reminder that death does not have the final word. It is a celebration of Jesus Christ rising from the dead, a victory over sin and fear, a promise that new life is available to all who believe. Find hope in the empty tomb. The story of Easter morning is etched in the Gospels with profound awe and hope, especially in the experience of Mary Magdalene and the other Mary who came to Jesus’ tomb just as dawn was breaking. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” Imagine the shock and wonder in their hearts. They came expecting to mourn and care for a lifeless body, but found the tomb empty. They faced a choice: to linger in fear or step into faith. As they hurried back to share the news with the disciples, Scripture says: 8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.” (Matthew 28:8-10 NIV) Jesus met them in the midst of their confusion and fear—not with condemnation or silence, but with life and a command to go forth boldly. He was alive. They were not forgotten. The resurrection was a living hope, moving us forward; hope in motion. The K.I.S.S. ~ Find hope in the empty tomb! Too often, when we feel God’s presence absent, it might be because we are the ones retreating—hiding in fear, doubt, or pain. Yet, God’s presence never wavers. He is nearer than we realize. The problem is not with Him; it is with us withdrawing. But Easter reminds us: “Behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20b NKJV) If you feel like you’re walking through a dark valley today, remember you are not alone. Jesus overcame death so that fear loses its grip. He calls you beyond the tomb of despair into resurrection life. He is risen. He is risen indeed. This truth changes everything—fear becomes courage, sorrow becomes joy, and hopelessness becomes promise. Easter is not just a historical event; it is the ongoing story of God’s unwavering presence with you now. So hold fast to this hope. Wherever you are, whatever you’re facing, Jesus is near. Don’t hide—step into the light of His resurrection. There is no fear because God is always close, always powerful, always alive. He is risen. He is risen indeed. "Be present. Be incredible.
