  <title>Meeting Mary Baird, Author of Daisy's Doings</title>
<description> We&amp;amp;nbsp;sat&amp;amp;nbsp;down&amp;amp;nbsp;with&amp;amp;nbsp;our&amp;amp;nbsp;client&amp;amp;nbsp;Mary&amp;amp;nbsp;Baird&amp;amp;nbsp;to&amp;amp;nbsp;talk&amp;amp;nbsp;about&amp;amp;nbsp;her&amp;amp;nbsp;children’s&amp;amp;nbsp;book,&amp;amp;nbsp;Daisy’s&amp;amp;nbsp;Doings. Aimed at 3 to 5 year olds, the story follows Daisy on a shopping trip with her mum. She brings along her favourite toy — though she doesn’t know what it’s called, so she simply calls it her “Doings”. Along the way, different people offer their own ideas about what it might be called. With&amp;amp;nbsp;its&amp;amp;nbsp;gentle&amp;amp;nbsp;repetition&amp;amp;nbsp;and&amp;amp;nbsp;simple,&amp;amp;nbsp;engaging&amp;amp;nbsp;language,&amp;amp;nbsp;Daisy’s Doings works&amp;amp;nbsp;well&amp;amp;nbsp;for&amp;amp;nbsp;early&amp;amp;nbsp;readers&amp;amp;nbsp;and&amp;amp;nbsp;story&amp;amp;nbsp;time,&amp;amp;nbsp;supporting&amp;amp;nbsp;young&amp;amp;nbsp;children&amp;amp;nbsp;as&amp;amp;nbsp;they&amp;amp;nbsp;build&amp;amp;nbsp;confidence&amp;amp;nbsp;with&amp;amp;nbsp;words. Mary&amp;amp;nbsp;says&amp;amp;nbsp;the&amp;amp;nbsp;idea&amp;amp;nbsp;arrived&amp;amp;nbsp;in&amp;amp;nbsp;its&amp;amp;nbsp;own&amp;amp;nbsp;way&amp;amp;nbsp;—&amp;amp;nbsp;as&amp;amp;nbsp;many&amp;amp;nbsp;good&amp;amp;nbsp;stories&amp;amp;nbsp;do&amp;amp;nbsp;—&amp;amp;nbsp;and&amp;amp;nbsp;grew&amp;amp;nbsp;from&amp;amp;nbsp;there. One of the best parts of our work at Chesterton House is seeing our clients’ goals come to life — and Mary’s book is a wonderful example of that. Daisy's Doings&amp;amp;nbsp;is&amp;amp;nbsp;available&amp;amp;nbsp;now&amp;amp;nbsp;on&amp;amp;nbsp;Amazon&amp;amp;nbsp;and&amp;amp;nbsp;Waterstones.
