How I Lost Weight WITHOUT Dieting And Have Kept It Off for 6 Years

Download my free guide: The Calorie Setup Guide Learn how to calculate your calorie target and set your protein goal for fat loss. Get it here: https://kerstenkimura.com/the-calorie-setup-guide/ In this episode, I’m sharing the 5 things I did to lose weight in 2020 and, more importantly, how I’ve kept it off for the past 6 years. No dieting. No starving. No endless cardio. If you’re tired of restrictive plans, exhausting workouts, and feeling like you have to “start over” every Monday, this episode will give you a different way to approach fat loss. Between 2017 and 2019, I had to gain weight to support my health. But even after my body recovered, the weight kept creeping up. By 2020, I felt more out of shape than ever and knew I needed a new approach. I didn’t want to go back to extremes. I wanted something that would actually last. So instead of undereating and overtraining, I focused on simple habits that I could stick with long term. Inside this episode, I break down exactly what worked: • How I used MyFitnessPal in a practical way without starving, and why hitting protein was a game changer • Why strength training reshaped my body and mindset more than cardio or HIIT ever did • The underrated impact of walking 10,000 steps a day • How reducing alcohol made a bigger difference than I expected • Why letting go of timelines helped me stay consistent and finally see lasting results Today, I train 3–4 times per week, walk daily, and eat in a way that feels intuitive instead of obsessive. I haven’t had to “start over” since. If you’re a woman over 40, or anyone who wants a realistic and sustainable way to get fit and stay there, this episode will give you a clear path forward.
