She was a rising star at Drexel University and landed a co-op role at DuPont while still in college. Since most of the sales roles were held by engineers back in the late 1990's / early 2000's it wasn't that hard of a transition when she landed her first sales role.&amp;nbsp; She became a Sigma &quot;Black Belt&quot; within Dupont - which was a big program for quality improvement in the 90's -&amp;nbsp; Maria found a way to balance family and work although it cost her the &quot;fast track&quot; in promoting, but it led her into a career in data and commercial application.
