0:25-6:16 INCANDESCENCE (CAN) Confluence — Gorgeous melodic black metal with technical, proggy drumming and intricate guitars that build to sinister snarling passages. 7:15-12:15 PHASMA (Greece) I — Muscular death growls, a blinding black metal screech, and a shouted hardcore to match a refined icy black and a blasted death groove.   12:55-18:03 CEMETERY REIGN (Santa Fe) Captive in a Coffin — Chugging death broken with whispers of vocals, gasps of atmosphere and swirling melodic guitars. 18:19-25:39 MISERERE LUMINIS (CAN) Dans La Voie De Nos Lumières — Lush violins and pianos provide a sparkling instrumentation in an elaborate vibrating melodic wall of black metal.  26:17-32:30 BIZARREKULT (Norway) Blikket Hennes — A best of 2023. Another stunner of post-black and unpredictable, restless vibrant rock.  LOVE this band. 32:50-41:58 MARLUGUBRE (Italy) Iphigenia — Romantic blackgaze and heavy metal reminiscent of Alcest with throaty vocals and a contrasting female vocals that are just lovely. 42:22-48:08 VALDRIN (OH) Impaled Visions Breed Within The Vines — A best of 2020.  Pummeling, badass, riff-heavy black metal in crystal clear production with organic instrumentation. 48:27-51:21 PREDATORY VOID (Belgium) Peeling Cycle — 90s indie girl vocalist-style is a surprise, with the spoken word.  Of course this has all the aggressive brutality.  I’m keeping an eye on this one!  51:47-56:03 NECROFIER (TX) Servants of Darkness, Guide My Way I — A best of 2023. Creepy, malevolent black metal and a baleful vocalist. Meaner than their debut. 56:23-59:43 FINAL GASP (Boston) Gifted Shame — Melodic hardcore with atmosphere and haunting passages, that really mixes it up. 1:00:10-END WORM (FL) Necropalace — Cinematic, vampiric black metal with gleaming fangs. Drama dude.
