1 rich Libsyn https://www.libsyn.com 90 600 This is the seventh program of our 2026 season of “Scholastic Games,” our weekly high school quiz program featuring the schools of Lorain County, Ohio.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The show is produced from January through May of each year. &amp;nbsp;This week represents the last of our first-round competitions, as Elyria Catholic High School makes its debut visit to the program.&amp;nbsp; Weather and other factors have caused scheduling difficulties this year, delaying the team’s appearance, so its opposing team is a second visit to the program from Avon Lake High School, which defeated North Ridgeville High School in an earlier competition.&amp;nbsp; As playoff seedings are based on scores, the team may earn a better position from a higher score this time.&amp;nbsp; Avon Lake has won the county championship on three occasions, most recently in 2020.&amp;nbsp; Elyria Catholic has not yet produced a champion team, but as this program may indicate, this could be its year.
