1 rich Libsyn https://www.libsyn.com 90 600 Mike and Amanda Bristol started brewing beer in their home in&amp;nbsp;North Florida in&amp;nbsp;the early 90s.&amp;nbsp;But&amp;nbsp;soon&amp;nbsp;beer&amp;nbsp;transitioned from a hobby to a&amp;nbsp;vocation&amp;nbsp;when they opened Bristol Brewing here in Colorado Springs.&amp;nbsp;When the nearby Ivywild School&amp;nbsp;announced it was&amp;nbsp;closing,&amp;nbsp;the&amp;nbsp;pair&amp;nbsp;helped rescue the neighborhood centerpiece and turned it into the space we know today. Now offering a variety of food and craft beverage options, Ivywild continues to act as a community gathering space.&amp;nbsp;Visitors can take a nostalgic stroll through&amp;nbsp;familiar&amp;nbsp;school hallways –&amp;nbsp;hearing echoes and creaks of&amp;nbsp;students'&amp;nbsp;past,&amp;nbsp;all while&amp;nbsp;sipping a beer.
