The Construction Record Podcast - SPECIAL - Halloween 2025
On a special episode of The Construction Record Podcast, it is Halloween time as ConstructConnect director of news media Vince Versace and DCN-JOC editor Lindsey Cole gather around the news cauldron to discuss scary literature involving construction along with a look at the real-world fears keeping the industry up at night.   Vince drills into a recently-penned piece called the Sinister Seven - A Haunted Construction BOO-ks Guide, which lists books ranging from what spooky fun heavy equipment gets up to on Halloween to novels that weave family trauma, marriage drama and paranormal insidiousness altogether for a frightful read.   Lindsey and Vince also go over some of the real terrors stalking construction, including ongoing inflationary and tariff pressures, labour shortages and the quandary as to how best to get affordable housing built faster.  You can listen to our previous episode about the 2025 VRCA Awards of Excellence here.
