Yassir graduated (AFTER being detained due to truancy) in 2002 from Allen C Pope High School in Georgia. Despite being a good student on paper, Yassir's teachers used his truancy and penchant for back talk to grade him lower than he deserved. Yassir spent most of his time working almost every job from a used book store salesperson (and thief) to a sales associate (AND thief) at Wal-Mart. His connection with his friend's mom resulted in him doing things he really didn't want to like going to prom and applying and getting in to college.
