Chris's career has not been limited to a specific genre. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts&amp;amp;nbsp;Amherst with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, Cum Laude. He is a drum set professor at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he is the musical director for the UMASS Dartmouth Latin-Jazz “ Vision” Ensemble. Chris has also been on the guest faculty for The Berklee College of Music’s Annual Percussion Festival. His work has been documented on many recordings.&amp;amp;nbsp; He performs with The Jim Robitaille Group.&amp;amp;nbsp;Chris Poudrier, Sr., is also a composer, an Irish Bodhran player, and an Irish Uilleann piper. The Artist Index's jazz documentarian and Jazz Podcast Series host,&amp;amp;nbsp;Dave Reis,&amp;amp;nbsp;spent nearly 26 years as a Jazz radio show host, among his many other accomplishments. He was one of the original longtime DJs who worked at the former&amp;amp;nbsp;WUSM,&amp;amp;nbsp;which became radio station&amp;amp;nbsp;WUMD, 89.3 FM, on the&amp;amp;nbsp;University of Massachusetts Dartmouth&amp;amp;nbsp;campus. Dave Reis,&amp;amp;nbsp;AKA&amp;amp;nbsp;David Domingo Reis,&amp;amp;nbsp;began as our guest on In-Focus Podcast 154&amp;amp;nbsp;and&amp;amp;nbsp;In-Focus Podcast 181. He returns once again as the host of our first-ever ten-part jazz podcast series underwritten by the Fiber Optic Center. There is no better host for this series than&amp;amp;nbsp;Dave Reis,&amp;amp;nbsp;a walking, talking jazz encyclopedia and local legend himself.&amp;amp;nbsp;Dave grew up surrounded by and hanging around with many of the jazz greats he will be presenting his ten-part&amp;amp;nbsp;Jazz Podcast Series underwritten by the Fiber Optic Center.
