In this very special episode we chat with writer, director, and editor Dan Ast. We talk about his time editing for the extremely popular web show, Equals three, then jump directly into the topic at hand... L.A. Macabre. 
Dan and I discuss the beginnings of the show and how it came to fruition. He talks about how they shot the first Season with just $9,000 and how that money manifested an award winning show: even going as far as picking up distribution w/ Proven Entertainment! 
Dan takes us deep into the Macabre and reveals his plans for the Second Season - not only wanting to step up the scale, but the budget too! For the past month they've been riding the Crowd funding road: an idea that has increased in popularity - over 1,000% - since it's rise in 2004. Dan talks about the craziness of running a campaign and gives some insight on the second Season.
