  <description> Sarah Chew  is a Science Programs Manager at the Society for Women’s Health Research, where she helps plan and execute a range of science programs, while supporting strategic planning and communications efforts across the organization.  With a diverse background in public health, Chew has experience in non-profits, city government, and health insurance. She previously served as Special Assistant to the Assistant Commissioner in the Bureau of Vital Statistics at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where she provided strategic support and project management for bureau processes and staff. She has also worked as a Senior Manager at UnitedHealthcare Community &amp;amp;amp; State and as Program Director for Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia.  Before graduate school, Chew supported a portfolio of comparative effectiveness research projects at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) in the Communication and Dissemination Research program.  Chew holds a Master’s in Public Health with a certificate in Health Promotion Research and Practice from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and a BA in Psychology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Emory University.
