A Conversation with Dr. Esther Kim of Ethne Health | 2025 CCHF Conference Plenary Speaker

CCHF CEO, Dr. Rick Donlon talks with Dr. Esther Kim about her work at Ethne Health and about her plenary at the upcoming 2025 CCHF Conference. Esther, originally from Malaysia, spent much of her school years in Texas. After a transformative experience at Summer Medical Institute (SMI) in Harlingen, TX, and a student rotation at Christ Community Health Services in Memphis, TN, she pursued a residency in Family Medicine and completed an OB fellowship. With support from various CCHF community mentors, she co-founded Ethne Health in 2017, a community clinic located in Clarkston, Georgia, which is known as the most diverse square mile in the U.S. Currently, Esther serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Ethne Health, where she also provides care for patients who speak over 40 languages. She has a deep passion for women's health, as well as for mentoring staff and students. When she’s not in the clinic, Esther enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and in the homes of their neighbors.
