He joined The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center faculty in the Department of Neurology in 1993. Dr.&amp;amp;nbsp; Scharre’s publications cover a broad range within the area of cognitive neurology including dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Lewy body dementia,&amp;amp;nbsp; Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease and much more.&amp;amp;nbsp; His research also covers neuropsychiatric aspects of disease,&amp;amp;nbsp; biomarkers,&amp;amp;nbsp; functional neuro-imaging and treatment of behavioral disturbances in dementia.
