Nancy&amp;amp;nbsp;Pimental, a Massachusetts native, graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a degree in chemical engineering and studied classical acting at a theater conservatory in Boston. After moving to Los Angeles, she performed stand-up and improv comedy and was hired as a writer for Comedy Central's animated hit,&amp;amp;nbsp;South Park&amp;amp;nbsp;(1997) in March of 1998. In addition, she has sold her first screenplay to Columbia Studios, a romantic comedy which stared&amp;amp;nbsp;Cameron Diaz.&amp;amp;nbsp;She has also written a pilot for&amp;amp;nbsp;Warren Littlefield&amp;amp;nbsp;for NBC Studios and Fox starring&amp;amp;nbsp;Jenny McCarthy.&amp;amp;nbsp;In 2010, Pimental joined the staff of the&amp;amp;nbsp;Showtime&amp;amp;nbsp;dramedy&amp;amp;nbsp;Shameless, as a writer and producer. Now, in its third season, she serves as writer and executive producer.&#13;
