  <title>A Martha Moment - 286</title>
<description>Luke 10:38-42 &amp;amp;nbsp; Martha and Mary &amp;amp;nbsp; 38 Now as they were traveling along, He entered a village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who was also seated at the Lord’s feet, and was listening to His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with [a]all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to do the serving [b]by myself? Then tell her to help me.” 41 But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and distracted by many things; 42 but only one thing is necessary; for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” &amp;amp;nbsp; &amp;amp;nbsp; We get so busy doing church stuff that we are no heavenly good.&amp;amp;nbsp; I call it a Martha Moment. MUCH SERVING.&amp;amp;nbsp; oh you are always in church but your marriage is failing.&amp;amp;nbsp; you are always in church so your kids don't come.&amp;amp;nbsp; you are in five choirs, &amp;amp;nbsp; the martha moment &amp;amp;nbsp; john 11 :17-27 &amp;amp;nbsp; Now when Jesus came, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days. 18&amp;amp;nbsp;Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles[c] off, 19&amp;amp;nbsp;and many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to console them concerning their brother. 20&amp;amp;nbsp;So when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, but Mary remained seated in the house. 21&amp;amp;nbsp;Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22&amp;amp;nbsp;But even now I know that whatever you ask from God, God will give you.” 23&amp;amp;nbsp;Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24&amp;amp;nbsp;Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” 25&amp;amp;nbsp;Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.[d] Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, 26&amp;amp;nbsp;and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” 27&amp;amp;nbsp;She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.” &amp;amp;nbsp; &amp;amp;nbsp; 2 Tim 3:5.&amp;amp;nbsp; having a form of godliness but denying its power.
