  <title>Romans 6:1-14 - No Longer Under Law</title>
<description>Welcome to the Romans 6 Podcast! Mike and Kevin share their insights from the Book of Romans as they dive into Chapter 6:1-14. 6&amp;amp;nbsp;What shall we say, then?&amp;amp;nbsp;Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?&amp;amp;nbsp;2&amp;amp;nbsp;By no means! We are those who have died to sin;&amp;amp;nbsp;how can we live in it any longer?&amp;amp;nbsp;3&amp;amp;nbsp;Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized&amp;amp;nbsp;into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?&amp;amp;nbsp;4&amp;amp;nbsp;We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death&amp;amp;nbsp;in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead&amp;amp;nbsp;through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. 5&amp;amp;nbsp;For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.&amp;amp;nbsp;6&amp;amp;nbsp;For we know that our old self&amp;amp;nbsp;was crucified with him&amp;amp;nbsp;so that the body ruled by sin&amp;amp;nbsp;might be done away with,&amp;amp;nbsp;that we should no longer be slaves to sin—&amp;amp;nbsp;7&amp;amp;nbsp;because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. 8&amp;amp;nbsp;Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.&amp;amp;nbsp;9&amp;amp;nbsp;For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead,&amp;amp;nbsp;he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.&amp;amp;nbsp;10&amp;amp;nbsp;The death he died, he died to sin&amp;amp;nbsp;once for all;&amp;amp;nbsp;but the life he lives, he lives to God. 11&amp;amp;nbsp;In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin&amp;amp;nbsp;but alive to God in Christ Jesus.&amp;amp;nbsp;12&amp;amp;nbsp;Therefore do not let sin reign&amp;amp;nbsp;in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.&amp;amp;nbsp;13&amp;amp;nbsp;Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness,&amp;amp;nbsp;but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.&amp;amp;nbsp;14&amp;amp;nbsp;For sin shall no longer be your master,&amp;amp;nbsp;because you are not under the law,&amp;amp;nbsp;but under grace.
