  <description>Mike Sanders, M.A.Ed, CSCS is the Human Performance &amp;amp; Wellness Coordinator for 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne).&amp;amp;nbsp; Mike received his Master’s Degree in Education (emphasis Exercise Science) in 1999 from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.&amp;amp;nbsp; He was the Director of Strength and Conditioning for the University of Denver from 2001 to 2010.&amp;amp;nbsp; Mike was blessed to be part of back-to-back national championships in D-I men’s ice hockey while coaching at DU.&amp;amp;nbsp; In 2010 Mike accepted a position as a Human Performance Specialist physically preparing SEALs for combat in Virginia Beach.&amp;amp;nbsp; Mike came to 7th SFG(A) in 2010.&amp;amp;nbsp; He has extensive experience and knowledge working with tactical athletes in the Special Operation Forces community and has trained many athletes ranging in age, experience, and level.&amp;amp;nbsp; Mike is also an author and is the president and founder of Junto Tribe Ministries.&amp;amp;nbsp; Most importantly, he has been married to his wife of 18 years, Julie, and has two daughters, Chayla and Grace. </description>
