For the next 4 episodes, we’ll be walking through Colossians.&amp;nbsp; Here are some fun facts: Colossians was most likely Paul’s first epistle from prison. Paul didn’t start the church at Colosse or visit there. Paul wrote this letter to encourage the Believers living there.&amp;nbsp; They were growing in their faith, and he wanted to cheer them up and on.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The book of Colossians is meant to encourage us as we grow.&amp;nbsp; Growth can hurt.&amp;nbsp; Did you ever have “growing pains” as a child?&amp;nbsp; Your mom most likely rubbed your legs and gave you some extra TLC before sending you back to bed with this admonishment, “you’ll be fine. Go to sleep!” ☺ The church at Colosse was experiencing growing pains.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; “It is not until a man finds his faith opposed and attacked that he really begins to think out the implications of that faith.&amp;nbsp; It is not until the Church is confronted with some dangerous heresy that she begins to realize the riches and the wonder of orthodoxy.” -William Barclay We hope you’ll grab a pen and your Bible and study Colossians with us!
