Episode 66: Patio stones and cement. All for fresh water.

This is the first of several podcasts covering a major project at the cottage. Bruce is finally installing a water purification system so we don't have to keep hauling water from the city or at least the town pump. Because let's face it. You just don't know where the town pump has been do you.

We did a bunch of cleanup in the crawlspace and prepared a place for the installers to set the new pump. We did this by scribing a plywood form to the un-even rock and poured 3 bags of cement. Admittedly mixing only three bags was fine with just the wheelbarrow and a hoe but any more and I would have insisted on using big boy tools. That would have meant at least a cement mixer but I would have gone all the way to the pumper.
