Helen Hirsh Spence: Founder of Top Sixty Over Sixty
I am delighted to introduce my guest Helen Hirsh Spence today. After devoting 35 years to increasingly senior leadership positions in both the public and private education sectors, Helen embarked on a journey of social entrepreneurship. She saw how ageism was impacting her generation and how the upcoming demographic shift would affect Canada’s social and economic fabric. As a result, she founded Top Sixty Over Sixty which was created to celebrate, educate and amplify the positive impact of older Canadians by debunking common myths about ageing and being “old”. Top Sixty Over Sixty provides thought leadership, consulting and training on age inclusion and diversity.
