  <description>Host –&amp;amp;nbsp;Adela&amp;amp;nbsp;Grando, PhD, Associate Professor, College of Health Solutions, Arizona State University  &amp;amp;nbsp;  Guests -&amp;amp;nbsp;Josephine&amp;amp;nbsp;Nabukenya, PhD&amp;amp;nbsp;and&amp;amp;nbsp;Raniah&amp;amp;nbsp;Aldekhyyel, PhD&amp;amp;nbsp;  &amp;amp;nbsp;   Dr.&amp;amp;nbsp;Nabukenya&amp;amp;nbsp;is an Associate Professor of Informatics and the former Dean of the School of Computing and Informatics Technology at Makerere University in Uganda.&amp;amp;nbsp;She&amp;amp;nbsp;founded and chairs the Health Informatics Research Group at&amp;amp;nbsp;the&amp;amp;nbsp;Makerere University&amp;amp;nbsp;to&amp;amp;nbsp;solve fundamental health challenges in Uganda, the African Region, and other low- and middle-income countries.  &amp;amp;nbsp;   Dr.&amp;amp;nbsp;Aldekeyel&amp;amp;nbsp;is an Assistant Professor in health informatics at the College of Medicine, King Saud University&amp;amp;nbsp;in Saudi Arabia.&amp;amp;nbsp;She published this year a JAMIA paper on “What it means to be a woman in the field of biomedical informatics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”.&amp;amp;nbsp;She is a member of&amp;amp;nbsp;several committees to review health informatics standards and develop national-level training programs&amp;amp;nbsp;in Saudi Arabia. </description>
