074: How Spiritual Healing is Possible for Adult Children of Divorce or Separation with Dr. Daniel Meola

In this episode, Dr. Dan Meola shares how spiritual healing of adult children of divorce or separation is possible and is closely tied to growth in virtue. Dr. Dan is the co-founder (with his wife Bethany) of Life-Giving Wounds, a Catholic non-profit apostolate dedicated to the spiritual healing of adult children of divorce or separation. Dan received his PhD in theology from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family in Washington DC, where he met Bethany. He has worked at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine since 2016 and has run retreats and given presentations to a wide variety of groups. His and Bethany's passion is raising awareness of the wounds caused by parental divorce and family brokenness, and helping all men and women with divorced or separated parents to receive God's abundant healing and move forward with greater faith, hope, and joy. Dan and Bethany are the proud parents of two little girls and make their family home in Bowie, Maryland, where they love exploring local parks and the Chesapeake Bay as a family.
