He has coached CEOs, as well as candidates for Governor of Texas and Lt. Governor of California. Jim has given presentation skills workshops to thousands of participants from high tech to direct sales to state agencies. Among his clients are AMD, National Instruments, Emerson, UC Irvine, Avon, Austin Energy and the American Cancer Society. Jim has spoken on communication skills to audiences in 25 states, Canada and Mexico. His book, When Roles Reverse: A Guide to Parenting Your Parents, was nominated by the Texas Writers’ League as Best Non-Fiction Book of 2007. Jim has ghostwritten three autobiographies, including Austin icon Jane Sibley’s memoir, Jane’s Window published by Texas A&amp;amp;amp;M Press. &amp;amp;nbsp; Jim’s writing credits include jokes for Joan Rivers and a monologue for comedy legend Bob Hope. His articles have appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Dallas Morning News and Reader’s Digest.
