We explore some Jamaican proverbs amidst stories of her inspiring journey so far. @aelsean BIO&amp;amp;nbsp; Joan Andrea Hutchinson ____________________________________ &amp;amp;nbsp; Most people know her as an author and performer whose work focuses on the promotion&amp;amp;nbsp;and preservation of Jamaican language and culture, but there is so much more to this amazing woman. &amp;amp;nbsp; Joan Andrea is a communications specialist, a public speaking coach, a motivational speaker and a behavior change communication consultant who has conceptualized and executed HIV anti stigma and discrimination campaigns for the Ministry of Health.&amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;nbsp;She&amp;amp;nbsp;has taught communications related courses at most universities in Jamaica and taught English as a second language while living in Tunisia, Holland and Spain, and also to foreigners in Jamaica.&amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;nbsp; &amp;amp;nbsp; She participated in several&amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;nbsp;conferences on Caribbean language in the UK and has a strong following among diaspora based Jamaicans.
