This could be a really progressive moment in our community, and it is! But of course, there are certain pockets of us who can’t seem to get with the program. Particularly, we have seen many Black women be disrespected - and it is a reminder that our community continues to be rife with layers of self-hate and mistreatment.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; This week we are reflecting on recent events surrounding the mistreatment of Black women across the country. For years we have been left out of the conversation of the fight for justice, equality, and respect and sadly not surprisingly enough we are still being forgotten.
