Today's episode is with Director Martin Lyons &amp;amp;nbsp; Marti Lyons is thrilled to direct Cambodian Rock Band at City Theatre as part of a collaboration with Victory Gardens Theater, where she directed the show in the Spring, and Merrimack Rep where this production is headed next. Marti recently directed Witch by Jen Silverman at the Geffen Playhouse, playing in LA now. Marti also directed&amp;amp;nbsp;Witch&amp;amp;nbsp;at Writers Theatre in Chicago last season.&amp;amp;nbsp;She directed&amp;amp;nbsp;How to Defend Yourself&amp;amp;nbsp;by Lily Padilla for the 2019 Humana Festival as part of a co-world premiere with Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago, where Marti will direct the play again in 2019.&amp;amp;nbsp;Marti has directed&amp;amp;nbsp;Botticelli in the Fire&amp;amp;nbsp;by Jordan Tannahill (Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company);&amp;amp;nbsp;The Wolves&amp;amp;nbsp;by Sarah DeLappe and&amp;amp;nbsp;Kings&amp;amp;nbsp;by Sarah Burgess (Studio Theater);&amp;amp;nbsp;Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner&amp;amp;nbsp;(Court Theatre);&amp;amp;nbsp;Short Shakes! Macbeth&amp;amp;nbsp;(Chicago Shakespeare Theater),&amp;amp;nbsp;Title and Deed&amp;amp;nbsp;by Will Eno (Lookingglass Theatre Company)&amp;amp;nbsp;and&amp;amp;nbsp;Wondrous Strange&amp;amp;nbsp;together with Meg Miroshnik, Jiehae Park and Martyna Majok for the 2015 Humana Festival (Actors Theatre of Louisville).&amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;nbsp;This season Marti will direct&amp;amp;nbsp;The Niceties&amp;amp;nbsp;by Eleanor Burgess (Writers Theater), Jen Silverman’s&amp;amp;nbsp;The Moors&amp;amp;nbsp;(A Red Orchid Theatre), and the world premiere of&amp;amp;nbsp;The Scarlet Letter&amp;amp;nbsp;by Kate Hamill (South Coast Repertory).
