1 rich Libsyn https://www.libsyn.com 90 600 I was in college during the late 60s and enjoyed the introduction of, what was called at the time as, &amp;quot;psychedelic&amp;quot; music into main stream rock 'n roll.&amp;nbsp; But, just because a band was &amp;quot;heavy&amp;quot; didn't mean it wouldn't be a one hit wonder.&amp;nbsp; Iron Butterfly's In-A-Godda-Da-Vida was the first album ever to hit Platinum status.&amp;nbsp; But two years later, the band was on a downward spiral and played a few songs at my fraternity party at the Holiday Inn at which the band was staying.&amp;nbsp; The tunes themselves were terrific; and lots of popular songs were not Heavy.&amp;nbsp; Here's a collection of some of my favorites from that era.&amp;nbsp; Enjoy!
