Faith, Balance, Be the Board EP: 10
In this episode your host, Catherine Avery provides an overview of her business retreat in Carolina Beach, NC. She had set 3 intentions for herself on this retreat: ·       build a sales funnel/strategy; ·       be open to all possibilities; and  ·       have fun. As part of this she took surfing lessons.  Catherine had never surfed before; she was both exhilarated and terrified at the same time.  She knew that if she wanted to be able to shift in her business, she would need to get out of her comfort zone in other areas too.  Surfing was all of that and then some. Being an entrepreneur can be compared to learning to surf: Feel the fear, do it anyway; Failure is a data point – new information; Easier with a coach; ·        To stay balanced you have to focus on the horizon; and Be the board, just be.
