Johanna Contreras: Deputy Assistant Director, Education Task Force

Johanna works for the City of New York, in the Mayor's Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Johanna has been at OMB for 5 years and is currently the Deputy Assistant Director for the Education Task Force. She manages a stellar team of 11 to oversee the budgets of the Department of Education and City University of New York which together total $34 billion. Johanna and Jared met in grad school where they both enrolled in the Urban Policy program at the New School.
